Cavani hat-trick moves Napoli level with the Serie A leaders Juventus

Antartika Raya. - Napoli joined Juventus at the top of Italy's Serie A after Edinson Cavani hat-trick in a 3-0 win blowing Lazio at the Stadio San Paolo.

Host fourth victory 'in five league games took them to 13 points, with only a missed penalty from side to deny Cavani Walter Mazzarri of taking the top spot directly in the Italian championship.

There is only one game in Spain where Atletico Madrid went second in La Liga, and six points clear of rivals Real, after a 4-2 win at Real Betis.

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao scored twice to overtake Lionel Messi at the top of the list of La Liga's top scorer, with thirteen points, Atletico are now just two fewer than Barcelona.

In Germany, Szabolcs Huszti and Didier Ya Konan continued Hanover among the league leaders, scoring or assisting on all four goals as the team beat Nuremberg 4-1 at home.

Bayern Munich top of the Bundesliga after winning the opening five games, but the third moved Hanover clamp Konan and one of the Hungarian Huszti take their points tally to ten for the season.

Hamburg moved out of the bottom three after a 2-2 draw at Borussia Monchengladbach, with former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart opened the scoring for the visitors.
