Sharp Aquos SHT21 Pad, First Android Tablet with Screen Using Energy Efficient IGZO

Antartika Raya- Having previously raised Zeta Aquos Phone, Sharp has now launched a new device that uses IGZO display technology. The new device is a tablet called the Sharp Aquos Android Pad SHT21.


 
The tablet has a 7-inch screen. This screen has a resolution of 1280 800 pixels. And, thanks to technology IGZO screen, Sharp said that the 2040 mAh battery of this tablet can last 2.5 times longer than other tablets on the market with similar specs.

On the inside, this tablet uses a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4. The performance of this processor supported by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The tablet weighs 280 grams which is equipped with WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, NFC and 4G LTE.

Currently, the tablet will only be found in the Japanese market. Sharp will sell the tablet party this coming December through operator KDDI.
