Yahoo Officially Leave South Korea End of Year 2012

Antartika Raya- Korean market is one market that is hard to sneak by technology companies the world. It is felt by Yahoo. They recognize that it can not compete with sites such as Daum and Naver local.


And, as a concrete step, the company is now led by Marissa Mayer, and even then decided to stop operating a representative office in the country ginseng. Termination done officially by the end of 2012.

This is the first step taken by Yahoo in Asia. They reasoned that the termination of the operation of the office in South Korea is one of the company's marketing strategy. With the shutdown, Yahoo hopes to build a stronger global business.
